NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ALLOCATION OF THE PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR FY2026

Place:   Select Board Meeting Room, Town Hall, 170 Main St., Edgartown

Date & Time:  Monday, November 24, 2025, 4:10 p.m.

Purpose:  To hear public comment to assist in establishing the tax rate for FY2026 by determining whether or not each class of property (Residential, Commercial, and Open Space) should have a different tax rate, or whether the rate should be the same for all classes.  Information and data relevant to making the determination and possible fiscal effect of the available alternatives may be obtained in the Assessors’ Office.  Interested taxpayers may present oral or written information on their views at the time of hearing.  Your views are important, please attend.
