Annual Shellfish licenses run from April 1st to March 31st.

Residents must be on the tax rolls or the annual census list. A resident license is $50 for those residents under 60 years of age. They are free to those residents 60 or over.

Non-resident annual licenses are available for $250.

A weekly license is also available for $50. This entitles the purchaser and their family to go out once in a week window and get a limit of shellfish. This license does not apply to scallops.

An annual license is required to fish for scallops during the season.
